| We sure do love our pets. They protect us, keep us active, make us laugh and know all our secrets. I like to capture the personalities of each animal I photograph. Photographing Ella, a six month old Yorkie, in a sedentary setting didn’t make much sense – I had to get her with all four paws off the ground. This girl never stops moving and I almost got knocked over a few times as she whirled past me! This photo of Ella makes everyone smile. Now Ilea never moves quickly. This shot of her on the couch up in her Aspen home was captured on a beautiful winter afternoon. I really waned to join her in a nap but it never happened. And you gotta just love this sweet face of Sadie. She is such a sweet dog and has finally found a good home after years of abuse. Jack is my boy. I took this on one of our hikes. I love spending time at stables and photographing horses. Actually, I think in a former life I must have been a cowgirl. Horses are amazing animals and I love photographing them in action. My pet and horse photography is unique and can be created to fit the mood of you and your pet.
